Hello!
My name is Fatinah. I’m an English teacher and live in St.Petersburg with my family.
I come from Uganda, studied in the Uk and Russia and I have lived here for a decade now.Russia is a cold country but the people are warm.
I have been teaching English for 8 years from 2013 to this day. My first language is English, which makes me a native speaker. I have studied Russian and I have also studied a bit of French and German.
My career started right after university and I have taught people of different age groups from children as little as four , (through play) teenagers to adults.
As a teacher, I’m deeply engaged in my students’ development; the ability to understand, communicate and practice what they’ve learned makes my job rewarding and satisfying.
I learned Russian language through mainly speaking with the natives, listening to music and watching films. These are great ways to quickly learn a language.
I have different kinds of lessons;individual, group lessons and online lessons so you can choose what kind of lessons are suitable for you.
I have been a teacher at EducaCentre in Pushkin for over five years now and I really enjoy it; it’s time well spent there.
This year I’m really looking forward to the language summer camp at EducaCentre since we didn’t get that opportunity last year due to the pandemic.
